Day1 Day 1 started with rain in Haiku, some clouds and very light rain. When we walked up the beach we had a strong rain squall, and whitecaps. Soon afterward the sun came out and the squall passed and we had sunny skies and lighter wind. The sailing was good, and it turned out to be a classic Maui day with strong wind for the afternooners and the advanced sailors. |
