|
All Gear Supplied: We supply all the beginner
equipment, and a variety of sizes to accommodate
different people sizes. Bigger folks will need more
floatation. Advanced surfers can rent from a selection
of differing board sizes and types. |
|
Surfing is simplicity. Get your board, a shirt and
shoes, and just add waves (and a little instruction
too!). |
Two-hour sessions:
Our average lesson is about two hours long, this allows
for some talk time and a land lesson, before getting
into the water and catching some waves. Most people will
be fully satisfied (and exhausted) after their surf
session. The lessons are held close to shore in a
sheltered bay. The waves break away from shore over a
gently sloping reef. This makes the waves predictable
and relatively gentle. (These locations do not have the
shore-break waves which are not recommended for beginner
surfing). |
|
The students will not need
to paddle too far from shore to get their rides. Parents
and spectators can stay on shore, an can get some great
photos of the action. (Non-surfers should not enter the
water at the surfing location.) |

theory, and more water time. 8:00am to 11:00am each day.
We provide the gear including lycra rash guard shirt to

Stand Up Paddle
Surfing: is the latest evolution in surfing is a
revival of the original "Beach Boy surfing" style.
We use a long wide board, and a long shafted outrigger
style paddle. This style of surfing can be relaxing or
exciting depending on your energy levels. This is not
strenuous but is a great core workout as a bonus. Now
more popular than ever.
